Below you will find thoughts from the one and only Mistress Blair Brooks, founder of The Colorado School of Stoicism.
The more intense the physical pain gets, the deeper into your psyche you are able to travel.
You will probably visit places of childhood trauma, emotional repression, and clarity. You might also find yourself unable to think of anything else but your current physical state. Maybe you'll even question reality, your sanity (or insanity), and how you found yourself naked, restrained, and receiving pain that you could never even fathom.
The most curious thing I am into is helping you break and grow from addiction though alternative physical endurance techniques. Pain is one of many ways to check the ego and guide it to where it needs to be. Pain can be a reward of bad behavior. Consider a session with me like confession. Tell me about your sins and relapses then I will provide an acceptable course of action to offset your poor choices.
There is no straight line of recovery. Once an addict, always an addict. You must treat yourself as so. Fluctuations occur, and I am here to help you tame those tangents so that you may once again find yourself on the path of healing and/or sobriety. Life becomes brighter after a dark session in my dungeon.
